I am so thrilled to be a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal last night! Thank you to my MLA Shane Simpson for nominating me. It is a great honor to to stand alongside a tremendous group of East Vancouver residents who have all contributed so much to the community. I am humbled. I am also wondering where on earth one wears a medal! Good thing it came with an instruction manual.
